The Monolith is a science fiction–historical thriller that blurs the line between empire, myth, and cosmic horror. At the height of their power, the Romans unearthed something in the Caucasus mountains—something not of this world, something that demanded legions as sacrifice. Erased from history but never destroyed, the secret remained buried beneath stone and ice for centuries. When modern explorers rediscover it, they awaken a power that has been waiting since before Rome itself: a relic that binds the past and future, commanding loyalty not to men, but to the idea of empire. Epic in scope and cinematic in tone, The Monolith weaves together ancient Rome, modern science, and supernatural forces to ask: what happens when history itself refuses to stay buried?

    3 min. 25 sec.

In the frozen peaks of the Caucasus, the story begins. History remembers Rome’s legions as lost to snow and storms, but this is only the official truth. In the shadows of a cavern, Roman soldiers uncovered the monolith—an impossible structure, smooth and silent, older than their gods. Centuries later, a modern expedition arrives to investigate strange signals beneath the ice. What they find are not artifacts, but the remnants of entire legions fused with stone and glass, warnings carved into walls: Ne tangite—do not touch. When the monolith stirs once again, the cavern fills with ghosts of the past and the birth of something neither human nor Roman. The empire has not fallen. It has only been waiting.
